A search for the nation’s best business women brought together a host of inspirational ladies for the finals of the National Business Women’s Awards 2018.

The awards, held at Wembley Stadium, which cover every aspect of business, from the sole trader to the corporate elite, celebrated the female innovators, trailblazers, disruptors and entrepreneurs setting the precedence for women in business.

An array of titles was seized by Glasgow’s leading business women.

Lorraine Gray of Pursuit Marketing took the Business Woman of The Year – Small title.

She said: “I was absolutely delighted to be named Business Woman of the Year in the Small Business category for 2018.

“This is not only reflective of the incredible year of growth we have experienced at Pursuit, but of our commitment to support more women to choose and develop careers in the Technology Industry.

With more initiatives planned for 2019, and further expansion across EMEA, I look forward to returning in the Medium (or Large!) category next year.”

Dianne Teo of T30 Fitness Training, based in Giffnock, took the International Women’s Award.

She said: “It came as a complete surprise for us but has been fantastic for brand awareness and recognition.

“Already several people have been in contact and two newspapers in Scotland have asked for an interview. It has been phenomenal for the business.”
