While Bibi is open to anyone looking to while away an evening fraternising with friends over drinks and nibbles, it also lends itself as an ideal space for diners to enjoy pre-dinner drinks prior to their meal at Dimora below.

Proprietor Peppe Staiano said: “Bibi introduces the Italian aperitivo bar culture to the southside of Glasgow. The Italian tradition of aperitivo originates in a drink and snacks at the end of the working day as a warm up to dinner and aperitivo bars are where Italians meet to relax over a glass of wine or a light cocktail and finger foods.

“As such, Bibi Aperitivo Bar is the perfect complement to Dimora, which we opened last year to bring a taste of the Amalfi Coast to Newton Mearns.”

Bibi will be the first outlet in the southside of Glasgow to offer Birra Poretti from an innovative draught system that guarantees consistency of temperature and quality.

Offering 45 covers, Bibi is also available as a pop-up bar for private parties, corporate functions and community events.
