Volunteers for the Better Together campaign continue to hit the southside streets, appealing to voters to just say no.
Better Together Eastwood took to Giffnock on Saturday, and co-ordinator Ian McAlpine told The Extra: “Residents were concerned they were being promised the earth by Alex Salmond.
“They are still unhappy about his response to the pound and currency issues. More people seem to be moving to vote no and stay within the UK.”
A Glasgow contingent headed to Pollokshields meanwhile, including southside central councillor Soryia Siddique, who reported a “positive response for Scotland staying within the United Kingdom.
“People want answers to important questions on the economy.”
