The Giffnock branch of Cats Protection officially opened their community based office this week.
The group are based in the offices of Voluntary Action on Kilburn Street in Barrhead.
Councillor Kenny Hay cut the ribbon to mark the official opening, while congratulating the branch on its work within the local community.
Karen Minnery, branch coordinator said: “This community based volunteer hub will give the public the opportunity to come in and find out about the work our volunteers are doing, finding forever homes for abandoned cats and kittens, we will also provide advice and information to cat owners on a huge range of topics.”
