GLASGOW venue Broadcast has a great line-up of singer-songwriters coming up, with new and firm favourites among them.

Songstress Erin Todd is no stranger to these pages.

Erin has featured before in Scene and has proved to be a talent to watch in the future.

The Edinburgh-born singer narrowly missed out in winning a prestigious Frankie Miler Songwriter of the Year Award last year.

Between then and now Erin has kept herself very busy by touring and playing gigs around the country.

Recently, the singer recorded a session to promote Enbable Scotland.

Earlier, Erin was at the Kintyre Songwriters’ Festival and gigs have included King Tut’s, the Hebridean Celtic Festival and the Alehouse Music Festival in her home town of Edinburgh.

Joining Erin will be Katie O’Hallorin who has been displaying her singing talents on stage since she was nine years old.

Among her musical credits Katie sites singing in the Oscar-winning Cate Blanchet film Elizabeth: The Golden Age and on the soundtrack for Oliver Stone’s The World Trade Centre.

Add to that the talents of Adam Fortune, Scott Logan and Alan Smith, and you realise there’s quite an abundance of talent at the Glasgow venue.

Ticket are available by calling 0141 332 7304.

The gig is on July 30, with Erin also playing the Glasgow School of Art the following night.
