It’s the Jumble Sale of the Century – as proven last year when one celebrity, Colin Montgomerie, was faced with the decision on whether to buy back his golf clubs!
Who knows what gems will be available at the 28th Giffnock Scouts Group Jumble Sale next month?
A full range of treasures will be sold from furniture to bicycles. There is also a very popular collectors corner.
Recent finds include designer handbags, a medal from the Crimean War and a first edition James Bond book.
Last year more than £7,000 was raised enabling over 180 young people to access new adventures and develop key leadership and team building life skills.
In addition, several local charities gained funds from the remaining jumble.
The Scouts will be out in the area collecting jumble on the week beginning October 1.
The jumble sale takes place on Saturday, October 6 at The Scout Hall, Arthurlie Drive, Giffnock; doors open 11am, admission £1
