ONE for the younger set, Eastwood Park Theatre is holding a Bookbug Session for children between the ages of 0 to 3. Designed to introduce music to the very young, it uses simple rhymes, songs and games. Free event.

HEAD along to Whitecraigs Rugby Club for a race night in aid of the Genesis Research Trust which provides vital medical research into cancer, brain damage, genetic disease, miscarriage and premature birth. Entry £5 and the event begins at 7.30pm.
WOODFARM High is having a quiz night. Go along if you think you’re smart enough and have the chance of being the best team. Held at the school between 7.30pm and 11pm, the event costs £7.50 per person with first drink free.

FAMILY, vintage fair, Afternoon Twee, is on at Tusk. There will be kids craft workshops, a soft play area, arts and crafts, crockery and all manner of hidden gems and curiosities. Entry is free and the doors open at 12.30pm.
