Tourist chief echoes Gazette calls

THE UK-wide VisitBritain tourism agency has echoed calls made in the Gazette last month by Scots tourism supremo Mike Cantlay to exploit 2012’s special events for all they are worth.

In his interview with the Gazette, Mike predicted that Scotland would get a spin-off of visitors coming to the UK in the year that the Diamond Jubilee and London Olympics coincide.

Now VisitBritain has made inviting friends and relatives abroad easier by producing two special websites.
