The show, held within Fairweather Hall, saw many members ‘benching’ a large number of exhibits.

Members brought along a colourful display of spring bulbs, which filled the hall with scent.
There were nine classes for tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocus, a container of spring bulbs, pot plants, foliage plants, vase of cut flowers and floral arrangements.
Mrs Cynthia Martin presented the trophies to the prize-winners, who were:
Fa’side Challenge Cup for best bulb exhibit went to Gillian Sharp, while the Convenor’s Trophy for best container or pot plant was won by Peter Watson. The Hazeldean Trophy for best vase of flowers was succesfully lifted by Iris Adam and the Marion Ferns Trophy for best floral arrangement won by Cheryl Nixon.
