The Avenue has designs on fashion show

The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns will be at the centre of all things fashion later this month as it plays host to the Autumn Winter 2018 Fashion Show.

On Saturday, September 29, pick up tips on the best season trends as styled by Maria Barnett from Scottish Woman Magazine.

Featuring ladies, gents and childrenswear, the three catwalk shows will commence from 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm hosted by Radio Clyde’s Gina McKie.

Introducing the best new fashion arrivals from The Avenue stores, you may recognise many of the models as locals and staff from around the shopping centre will be getting involved.

The Avenue will be supporting Prostate Cancer UK on the day with fabulous raffle prizes donated from various Avenue stores, fundraising and representatives from the charity will be in centre.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue said: “Get set for Autumn Winter 2018 with the best fashion examples from our stores here at The Avenue – and it’s not just for the ladies! Gents and childrenswear will also be showcased and we are delighted that all of our fashion stores and many more will be featuring.

“Be sure to grab a seat early before your preferred show to be guaranteed a goodie bag. Plus there will be added surprises for the chance to win gift cards for our stores and many will be offering exclusive discounts on the day too.”

Michelle continued:“We are hosting this fashion show to highlight the broad range of fashion we have available here at The Avenue, from nationals and independents, but also to support Prostate Cancer UK, the men going through it and their families who support them.”

Participating stores in The Avenue Fashion Show willl include: ASDA; a bientot; M&Co; Gerry Weber; New Look; Sass Wear; Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Little VIPS, Rogersons, Oxfam Boutique, Marks & Spencer, Michael Warren, Optical Express and many more.
