All across Scotland, hundreds of private and public gardens open their garden gates under Scotland’s Gardens Scheme to raise money for countless charities, big and small.

September can be a wonderful time to explore gardens, to watch the seasons change before your eyes. Visitors to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital garden can see how the therapeutic Horatio’s Garden has helped transform the lives of patients and their families.

This award winning garden was designer by renowned garden designer and RHS judge, James Alexander-Sinclair.

Guests will be guided around on tours by the knowledgeable Head Gardener and volunteer team tommorow (Saturday, September 1) and there will be children’s activities.
