TAKE a trip down memory lane this week with the Minerva Youth Theatre — all the way back to the 80s.
It may be the decade which style forgot; which gave us Rick Astley promising to never give you up and Jason Donovan as your Aussie heartthrob.
And of course, the cast of the show (aged nine to 18) won’t remember it themselves — they weren’t even around at the time.
But for those of you who remember it fondly, the southside gang are performing at Eastwood Park Theatre this week, and all are invited along to join the party.
Expect bubble skirts and blue eyeshadow galore, as well as a hit or two from the king of pop, Michael Jackson.
Above all, expect a good song and a dance — because that’s just what audiences have come to expect from the youth troupe, which has been on the go since 1971.
n Back to the 80s runs at Eastwood Park runs February 6-9, with performances at 7.30pm (plus a 2.30pm Sat mat).
Tickets £11-£15, from 577 4970.
One free ticket for parties of 15+ at the Wed, Thurs and Sat mat shows.
