The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns is inviting families to their FREE visits to Santa every Sunday from 12 noon – 4pm and also Christmas Eve.

Plus The Avenue is partnering with Woman’s Aid South Lanarkshire & East Renfrewshire for their Give a Gift to Santa Appeal this year.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue said: “Woman’s Aid South Lanarkshire & East Renfrewshire needs your help to make Christmas special for children and families in our local area who have little or nothing under the tree on Christmas morning.

“All new unwrapped toys and gifts are welcome and can be given to Santa every Sunday plus Christmas Eve on Monday, December 24 between 12 noon and 4pm. Shoppers can also donate gifts any other day of the week as The Market Place within The Avenue will have a drop off point in store for any gift donations during their opening hours Monday – Saturday.”

Woman’s Aid South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire are particularly looking for gift donations suitable for boys and girls between the ages of two years up to teenage years.

All children can visit Santa for free meet and greets in the mall on these dates, and please remember - all gifts donated must be unwrapped as no wrapped gifts can be accepted.
