Following the October production in Glasgow’s west end, Giffnock Theatre Players return to the familiar surroundings of Eastwood Park Theatre for their January production, the classic thriller Dial M For Murder.
The club enjoyed a successful run in Websters Theatre with The Cripple of Inishmaan.
Now the popular and long-established theatre group are returning home to the southside to bring you the sophisticated and suspenseful Dial M For Murder.
Member David Pearson said: “Of course the classic 1950s Hitchcock film with Grace Kelly and Ray Milland will be familiar to many readers.
“However it doesn’t actually matter if you know how the story ends.
“It is such a cleverly plotted play, full of twists and turns, and with the tension building effectively right to the end – it’s truly an absorbing piece of theatre.
“There is a succession of clues, counterclues and red herrings, and audiences are kept guessing at just how it will all end.
“The group have performed Dial M For Murder before – 30 years ago! – to great success.
“This new production will, I am sure, be equally powerful and popular. Audiences can expect a great night’s entertainment.
“It has a cast of five, featuring some familiar faces and some new ones as well.”
Dial M For Murder is being presented in Eastwood Park Theatre from Wednesday,January 23, to Saturday, January 26, at 7.30pm, with an additional matinee performance on Saturday 26th at 2.30pm.
