Budding amateur photographers are invited to enter the competition, which will challenge people to capture photographs that showcase the local features and attractions that are quintessentially or iconically Pollokshields.

Entries could include one of the lovely parks, Burgh Hall, local architecture, or even the vibrant café scene – in fact anything that captures the local charm and history of the area.

Three lucky winners will receive £150 worth of vouchers from a trio of local Pollokshields businesses which will include a £50 Ollie’s restaurant voucher, a £50 Marie Brown at Home voucher, and a £50 Moyra Jayne’s Brasserie voucher.

Each of the three winning photographs will also be displayed in Merchants Gate for future McCarthy and Stone homeowners to enjoy.
