Carluke Opera’s South Pacific set for stage next week

IT WILL be a case of all at sea for Carluke Amateur Operatic Society members as over 40 of them prepare to bring musical South Pacific to life.

The show will see long-time CAOS director James Cassidy tread the boards for the first time in 13 years as Emile de Berque while Nikki McEwan stars as Nellie Forbrush.

CAOS member Heather Coulthard said: “South Pacific is a very famous Rodgers and Hammerstein classic and we are very pleased to be doing it.

“Over the past year we have recruited quite a few new members and they are looking forward to getting on stage.”

South Pacific will be staged in Carluke Lifestyles Centre from Tuesday, November 11, to Saturday, November 15, at 7.30pm.
