East Ren young people support MS Society

As part of the Year of Young People 2018, East Renfrewshire Council's Young Person Services Department, working with a group of S2 pupils at Eastwood High School on their Adventure Service Challenge Award, successfully raised £180 through a charity coffee morning in the school in aid of the MS Society.

This was a chance for the young people to show their ideas and talents as part of their accreditation, by organising and delivering the event which was a roaring success.

All money raised was through donations and prizes kindly donated from friends, family, school staff and local businesses. Young Person Services and school senior management said that the young people were absolutely fantastic on the day and this was a great achievement for them, giving a big thank you and well done to all involved.

On Thursday a fundraiser from the MS Society came out to the school to be presented with the money raised.
