The Pets’n’Vets Family, a network of veterinary practices with surgeries around Glasgow and surrounding areas, is waving goodbye to the era of unforeseen vet bills with the launch of a pioneering membership programme designed to give pet owners peace of mind and easy access while encouraging preventative healthcare.

Believed to be the first programme of its kind in the West of Scotland, Pets’n’Vets Family Membership includes everything owners need to keep their pet healthy.

This includes unlimited standard consultations; annual vaccinations; monthly anti-parasite treatments and discounts on selected preventative healthcare – making its advice, services and healthcare more accessible for one monthly payment of £23.50 per pet.

Pets’n’Vets Family partner Ross Allan said: “Our mission has always been to deliver the best pet healthcare simply and at sensible cost, and our new membership programme enables us to do just that.

“The programme is designed to make it easier for pet owners to access us.

“We want to encourage members to enquire about their pet’s health on a regular basis, so they can pop into their local practice and we can advise on any aspect of their pet’s welfare.

“We want to see animals at the beginning of an illness, rather than when a condition has become more advanced, and to ensure that the decision made by owners about whether or not to bring their pets to us is based on pet health rather than finance by offering significant savings while spreading costs and increasing accessibility.

“And for follow-up visits after any treatment, members will not incur any costs to be told that their pets are better.”

Regardless of which Pets’n’Vets practice they usually attend, Family Members can access the services and facilities of the Roundhouse in Glasgow’s Southside.
