Newton Mearns hotel scoops Hotel of the Year accolade

Parklands Hotel and Country Club in Newton Mearns saw off tough competition to take home the Hotel of the Year Overall Winner title at this year’s Hotel Awards Scotland.

The venue also won the Hotel of the Year South West category.

The Hotel Awards Scotland did not only celebrate hotels, but also other forms of overnight accommodation, including hostels, resorts, inns, lodges, serviced apartments and guest houses amongst other.

The prestigious event was hosted by radio and TV presenter, Josie Smith. She welcomed on stage talented individuals and businesses, recognised for the efforts they put into ensuring that their guests enjoy themselves.

The awards provided a platform to thank those who constantly deliver memorable experiences to visitors, enhancing the tourism in Scotland.
