Newton Mearns, Busby and Barrhead venues make Hotel Awards shortlist

A trio of East Renfrewshire venues are in the running at this year’s Hotel Awards Scotland 2019.

Parklands Hotel & Country Club in Newton Mearns has been nominated in the Hotel of the Year (SW) category, Busby Hotel in the Independent Hotel of the Year (SW) category and Barrhead’s Dalmeny Park House Hotel gets a nod in the Romantic hotel of the Year category.

The Hotel Awards Scotland 2019 will shine the spotlight on the best hotels that offer excellent services to their guests, from the process of checking in and out, to room services and hotel ambience.

The event will take place on Tuesday, October 1 at Glasgow Marriott Hotel and will welcome industry professionals that demonstrate constant evolution and innovation in the market, creating memorable experiences to their clients.

The awards will acknowledge city hotels that are the perfect fit for business trips or city breaks, romantic establishments that keep the romance in the air, boutique hotels known for their lovely atmosphere, bed and breakfast hotels that combine class and style at the same time and family hotels amongst other that can offer the perfect stay for the whole family.

A spokesman for The Hotel Awards Scotland 2019, said: ”Working for the hotel industry can be challenging at times and these awards aim to recognise those who have succeeded in this sector, despite the difficulties.
