Eaglesham hairdresser Rachael Pye has once again made it to the finals of the Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards.

The 26-year-old, who runs her own mobile hairdressing business covering East Renfrewshire and East Kibride, has been shortlisted again in the Freelance Hair Specialist category at this year’s awards.

Rachael is no stranger to the awards having made it to the finals in 2017 and winning the category last year.

Rachael started her hairdressing career in her teens with a Saturday job at 15. She set Rachael’s Mobile Hairdressing in 2012.

She said: “It feels great to be nominated again. I’m really happy and it’s all down to my lovely customers who voted for me.”

Rachael had to submit a portfolio of her work along with customer reviews and and PR she received to the judges. They will then decide if she is a cut above the rest ahead of the finals in December.

Rachael added: “Thank you to everyone who voted for me. All their votes helped get me to the finals again. I can’t wait!”
