Debenhams store wins at Silverburn Retail awards ceremony

The store was voted best department store and also best Beauty Hall.

Debenhams beat off stiff competition from the likes of Next and TK Maxx in the department store category and Body Shop and Pure Spa & Beauty in the beauty awards.

The winners were chosen by a combination of Mystery Shop results and an online poll which attracted 2000 votes.

The awards ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, hosted by Cassie from Clyde One, and the 400 guests partied the night away to singer Reba Martell.

Angela Morrison, Debenhams Stores, Technology & Supply Chain Director, said: “I am delighted for our store manager Craig Stewart and his team, who have worked so hard through a period of change for the business. They are really doing their bit for Debenhams and it is great that this has been recognised by our customers at Silverburn.”
