Award nod for Bellini Footwear

Bellini Footwear in Netherlee has made the finals of The 7th Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2018.

The store has been shortlisted in the Independent Fashion/Accesorries Retailer of the Year category.

Bellini Footwear will find out if it has managed to win the competition and
collect the trophy at the elegant ceremony being held in April.

The awards aim to celebrate the hard work of the independent retail business in Scotland.

Thousands of nominations were received from the public and the full list of finalists has now been compiled.

The owner of Bellini Footwear said: “We didn’t even know we had been nominated for this award or that the public had been casting votes, so we would like to say a massive thankyou to all of our customers who voted for us.

“Receiving enough votes to be shortlisted as a finalist is quite overwhelming! We are absolutely delighted.”

Nicole McEwan, campaign manager for Creative Oceanic, said: “We are delighted to see so many people getting involved in The 7th Scottish Independent Retail Awards.

“We have had a fantastic response from the public and we are looking forward to welcoming and acknowledging the most dedicated and successful individuals and establishments in a celebration of their tireless work.

The Scottish Independent Retail Awards are all about local businesses for their local community.

The black tie event will be held at The Crowne Plaza Glasgow on April 17.
