Choral Society

Come and join the vibrant mixed voice adult choir of the Eastwood Choral Society. All voices welcome. No auditions required. The repertoire is largely choral and classical, with concerts twice a year. Bring a mug for break time tea and biscuits! Wine Circle

Stamperland Wine Circle welcomes new members who have an interest in understanding more about wine and the enjoyment associated with it.

Club members enjoy tastings, displays by leading distributors and the matching of different wines to certain kinds of food. There will be demonstrations on how to make wine and an opportunity to chat about to making your own very drinkable varieties. Journey on

Christmas Fayre

Come along to Giffnock Primary Schools Annual Christmas Fair for a fun afternoon in our Christmas Cafe, Santa’s Grotto, Little Elf Craft Workshop, Santa’s Cinema, Christmas Gift Shop and more Festive Fun. Entry - adults £2/children free (pay on door). Help raise as much funds as possible for the school.

Eastwood Choral Society invites you to join them at their concert ‘We Will Remember Them’ at 7pm in Park Church, Giffnock. The concert will be in two parts. The first part will be Remembrance, a tribute to those who served. The choir will sing Schubert: Mass in G and Hayden: Te Deum. The second part will be a celebration of the Armistice, with community singing, poetry and music. Refreshments will be available, along with a small exhibition of personal memorabilia, Christmas stall and lucky dip. Tickets £8 adults and £4 children on the door.

Coffee morning

The 278 BB Annual Coffee Morning takes place from 10am-noon in Netherlee Church Hall. Coffee/tea and hot mince pies included in entry price of £2 for adults and £1 for children. Lots of fun and chat with popular chocolate tombola and stalls including home baking and guess the weight of home made Christmas Cake.

Fundraising morning

Christmas Coffee Morning in aid of Christian Aid and Church Funds from 10am to noon at St Aidan’s Church Old Mearns Road. Baking, gift, book and craft stall with handmade cards and raffle. Cost of entry £2.50 inc tea/coffee mince pies & shortbread. Would you please be able to let me know if you can include.
