Eros Musical Society to perform classic fairytale Cinderella

Eros Musical Society are getting geared up to perform everyone's favourite pantomime, '˜Cinderella' later this month

Clarkston-based Eros Musical Society is returning for the second time to East Kilbride village theatre, following the massive success of their first pantomime there last year, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The club has been in existence for over fifty years, although the majority of their many successful productions were performed at Eastwood theatre.

Ian McAulay, Eros president, said: “Our version of ‘Cinderella’, specially written for Eros, is going to be fantastic.

“The script is from the same professional author as last year’s side splitting version of Snow White.

“He has been responsible for most of the pantomimes shown in the King’s theatre over the last several years, and Cinderella promises lots of fun, laughter, great costumes and of course, singalong tunes perfect for a pantomime!

The production will run at East Kilbride Village theatre from November 20 to 24 at 7.30pm each night, with an extra matinee on Saturday, November 24 and an earlier evening show on that day of 6pm.
