Beer fans will be raising a glass as Glasgow’s first large scale real ale festival in 18 years begins today.

Glasgow Real Ale Festival (GRAF) takes place at The Briggait, in Merchant City, and will offer more than 120 different brands of beer over three days.

The event is organised by the Glasgow branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

If real ale is not your thing, GRAF includes a cider bar as well as a range of premium European beers.

The GRAF will run from 5 p.m. today until last orders on Saturday, with admission prices being £4 for CAMRA members and £6 for non-members.

A Glasgow Real Ale Festival beer glass is included in the admission price
