IN AN incredible few days for Glasgow City’s Leanne Ross she won her 75th cap for Scotland and scored her 100th club goal.
On Thursday she helped Scotland defeat the Republic of Ireland 2-1 in dramatic fashion in the European championship qualifiers.
While on Saturday the midfielder scored six goals in City’s 15-1 victory against Kilmarnock.
Head Coach Eddie Wolecki Black was quick to praise the player he brought from Newburgh to City four years ago.
He said: “Leanne has made an immense contribution to this club during her time here.
“She scores all types of goals - free kicks, penalty kicks, headers, volleys, right foot, left foot, tap ins, lobs and long range efforts.
“She has been a dedicated player off the park and this has helped her maintain her level of play for so long”.
