WITH A dismal season almost at a close, Queen’s Park are looking ahead to next season.
The Spiders have secured the signings of midfielders Tony Quinn and James Baty for season 2014/2015.
Boss Gus Macpherson said: “I am delighted both players have agreed to continue with Queen’s Park.
“This will be Tony’s 15th season with the club and he continues to make a valuable contribution.
“James will be entering his second season with us and we look forward to him continuing his important role in the squad.”
The 26-year-old began his career with Queen of the South and enjoyed spells in Australia, as well as with Annan Athletic and Threave Rovers before joining QP.
James will face his former club Annan, who currently sit in second place, when the southsiders travel to Galabank on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
On Saturday, bottom side QP and eighth-place Montrose drew 1-1 in Scottish League two action.
