A challenge between two tennis coaches to determine who’s the best in a best-of-three shoot out has social media sites abuzz.

And the charity Brain Tumour Action will benefit from donations.

The clash has also attracted the skills of tennis playing musician Keith Meisner who has written a song entitled “Judgement Day (McGinn v Panky)” which organisers say is rapidly going viral on YouTube around the tennis community.

The match has stirred up social media interest with former Giffnock players and GB team mates Jamie Murray and Colin Fleming joining in the twitter sensation.

Jamie said: “Fair play to both guys for putting their reputations on the line like this. It should be a really close match.”

It all kicks off at Giffnock Tennis Squash & Hockey Club at 2pm this Saturday.

A spokesperson said: “The club extends a very warm welcome to anyone who would like to watch.”
