Wallace on the move
Wallace will remain at Falkirk on loan for the rest of the season
EAST Renfrewshire schools were represented at Hampden at the weekend.
Ex-Williamwood pupil David Weatherston, and Murray Wallace, from Eaglesham were in the starting line-up for Falkirk’s 3-1 defeat by Celtic.
Wallace, who attended Mearns Castle before leaving for a career in football with Rangers and Falkirk, is also poised to make the next step in his career.
The 19-year-old signed for Huddersfield Town for an initial fee of £300,000, rising to £700,000 and he will continue to play for Falkirk on loan for the rest of the season.
Wallace made his Bairns debut in August and has since made 22 appearances for Steven Pressley’s side.
The central-defender attracted interest from many clubs in England and held talks with Brighton and Ipswich over a move prior to joining the Terries.
