GLASGOW city star Leanne Ross started her 150th game for the club on Sunday against the Spartans.

The midfielder joined City in July 2007 and has since picked up six league titles, three league cups and two Scottish cups.

Ms Ross could be adding even more silverware to her collection when her side take on Forfar in the Scottish cup final on Sunday.

Ross — who has scored a remarkable 159 goals for the club — has received glowing praise from boss Wolecki Black for

Wolecki Black said:”There is no doubt she will join the list of great players that have played here over the years and her name will sit comfortably alongside the likes of Laura Montgomery, Katharina Lindner and Leanne Campbell as true legends of the club. I would only need one hand to count the amount of sessions she has missed for this club over the years.

“Leanne continues to be a great source of inspiration to others at the club and is always willing to talk and help youth players.

“Her goalscoring record is astonishing, and she is without doubt one of the calmest finishers I have ever worked with. I am sure she will go on and add to her impressive tally and the club will continue to benefit from her contribution for a few more years yet.”
