GHA turn on the style

Heflin O'Hare continued his scoring form with two tries.

Heflin O'Hare continued his scoring form with two tries.

GHA dominated the current Premier three league leaders in a six try showcase.

After just five minutes, Hefin O’Hare found a gap in Kircaldy’s defence to score in the right hand corner.

Minutes later, Rangi Jericevich made significant yardage from his own 22 to set a platform for GHA to work the ball out wide to flanker Alan Auld for a superb score.

GHA’s ability to move the ball was again shown after the kick off, with Ross McClymont taking advantage this time to add another score.

The tides appear to turn when Kircaldy began to run through the phases, frustrating GHA and eventually seeing Hefin O’Hare go to the sinbin for an infringement in a ruck.

Kircaldy took advantage and scored after a number of pick and goes.

Before the end of the half, GHA responded with a Murray Houston penalty.

After the break, the forwards took their turn to add to the scoreline when Jamie Pinder squeezed over after a driven lineout.

Hefin O’Hare made up for his earlier sinbinning by scoring his second try of the day after a grubber through the Kircaldy line.

Jamie Pinder then added his second from metres out to close the game out.

On Saturday, GHA travel to Dalziel. 3pm Kick Off.

Cartha are now in fifth position Iin Premier three- two places behind GHA - after a 16-6 win against Perthshire.

Next week, Cartha host Dumfries at Dumbreck (KO 3PM).

Whitecraigs fell to Biggar, 33-11, in Premier C after self-destructing in the second half.

The teams went in at halftime matched at 8-8 and further penalties tied the sides at 11-11 early in the second half.

Persistent pressure from Biggar in the Whitecraigs 22 gave Conor Lavery an opportunity for Biggar to take the lead with a drop goal.

Whitecraigs struggled to deal with the move of Hata Wilbore to 10. Soon after the switched, he evaded four players to score for Biggar under the posts, with brother Amo adding the conversion.

Samu Faamausilli and Jade Gardiner added tries to secure a bonus point win for Biggar.

Whitecraigs hope to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they visit Falkirk.
