LOK are back in cup action this weekend, despite suffering cup agony on Saturday.

AN 85TH minute goal sent Pollok crashing out of the Emirates Scottish junior cup.

In Saturday’s fifth round fixture, Shotts Bon Accord’s Mark Sideserf’s late goal was enough to secure a 1-0 victory for the North Lanarkshire side.

However, in the New Coin Holdings West of Scotland cup , Lok will entertain Dunipace in a second round tie.

Kick off at Newlandsfield is at 2pm. Lok may be busy on the transfer market soon, as the club have been linked to Arthurlie midfielder Ryan Deas, who has been put on the transfer list at his own request.

Meanwhile, at Hampden last weekend, Queen’s Park hosted Berwick Rangers.

The Spiders went a goal behind after just eight minutes when Darren Lavery shot past Neil Parry, however, Jamie Longworth’s third goal in as many games on the 24th minute drew the hosts level.

In a game marred by misconduct, the first of three red cards came on the 55th minute, when Berwick’s Kevin McDonald was sent to the showers for violent conduct.

Just six minutes later, QP found themselves in front thanks to a 30-yard strike from Anthony McParland.

The second red of the game went to Spiders’ midfielder Michael Keenan, who received his second yellow on the 73rd minute.

Minutes later, Berwick’s Steven Notman was subject to the same fate, leaving the Wee Rangers with nine men.

On Saturday, Queen’s Park head to Peterhead. Kick off is 3pm.
