ONE of rugby’s most prestigious trophies is set to be showcased in the southside next month.

On February 16, Scotland legend Chris Paterson will bring the six nations trophy to West Lodge, home of Whitecraigs RFC.

Supporters will be able to have their photo taken with the celebrated silverware and enter a prize draw to win tickets to see the trophy in the flesh when Scotland face Ireland at Murrayfield the following Sunday.

They will also have a chance to enter a prize draw to win tickets to see the tournament in the flesh when Scotland face Ireland at Murrayfield the following Sunday.

Former Scotland full back Paterson, will answer questions on life as one of the game’s best ever goal kickers, pose for photos and sign autographs.

The RBS 6 Nations trophy will arrive at West Lodge shortly before kick-off in the RBS Championship League A derby against neighbours Cartha.

The trophy will also be on show on Wednesday January 30 at the St Enoch Centre from noon.
