NOW in its fourth year the Haggs junior open competition attracted more than seventy players from thirty different golf clubs.
Haggs Castle juniors were well represented with twelve entries including junior captain Calum Husenne, and his younger brother Aiden.
Also competing was Haggs Castle junior champion of 2010, Glen Burrett.
Club secretary George Crawford said: “The whole idea of this tournament is to encourage young golfers of all abilities.
“We are delighted to have so many entries and to be able to welcome these young players to Haggs Castle”.
Winner of the Haggs junior open trophy with best scratch score of 73 was Ross Hamilton of Erskine golf club.
Haggs castle’s own Scott Clarke finished just one stroke behind in second.
