Hopes for a fresh start for Pollok

Pollok will have a chance to put dissapointing form in the rearview mirror this week when they face Largs Thistle in the cup.

A 1-1 draw with Petershill and a 3-2 loss to Ashfield have not given the Lok faithful much to smile about in the last fortnight.

However, Lok will hope the clash against the Ayrhsire side will turn the mood around at the club.

Lok were 1-0 up against Petershill thanks to a Carlo Monti goal before heartbreak hit the southsiders on the 87th minute when Sean McKenna scored for the home
side.

Kick off tomorrow (Saturday) is at 2pm.

Meanwhile, another cup clash is on the horizon when Pollok play Dunipace away in the second round of the Euroscot Engineering cup on March 30.

Queen’s Park — who were without a fixture last Saturday — are back in action this weekend when they visit Annan Athletic.
