Testing time for Spiders

WITH all teams in Division 3 having reached the three-quarter stage, and only nine games left to play this season, Queen’s Park are eyeing up the possibility of a play-off spot.

It may be unrealistic to figure that the Spiders could catch up with top-placed Alloa Athletic as that team have a nine-point cushion.

But QP are two points ahead of third and fourth-placed Stranraer and Elgin City and, if they keep concentrated, a play-off place for Division 2 is within their grasp.

The lads have the weekend off, but tough games lie ahead with a trip to Berwick and a mid-week clash with Clyde all heading into view.
