Shoaib Khan, the new cricket coach pro hired by PSL Team Sports Clydesdale, has already proved an inspirational choice.

Shoaib makes impressive performances with the bat, rarely making less than 30 for his club — including one ton in mid-May. In the Cricket Scotland League match at Stirling on Saturday, the home side posted a challenging total of 225 for the loss of five wickets.

Shoaib (80 not out) shared an unbroken fourth-wicket partnership of 146 with in-form former captain Kasim Farid (72 not out) to take his team to victory.
