POLLOK are in action against Beith on Saturday.

The sixth place side sit just three points behind Ashfield, but with a game in hand.

The league clash kicks off at 2pm at Newlandsfield.

The club will hope to build a winning record following a 3-1 win against Arthurlie on Saturday in which McArdle and Monti (2) were the goalscorers.

Meanwhile, a new exhibition in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove art gallery titled More Than a Game: How Scotland Shaped World Football, features a snap by club photographer Ross MacDonald.

The photo, taken after Ryan McArdle scored the winner away to Glenafton in the league in January, is featured as part of the grassroots football section.

A club spokesman said: “We’re delighted for Ross, and would encourage any Pollok fan to get down to Kelvingrove and have a look.”
