FOOTBALLERS from St Cadoc's youth club won the Lord Provost's trophy this weekend.

Keeping a clean-sheet while topping their group after wins over Lenzie and Kirkintilloch Rosebank, they went on to fire four past Lanarkshire boys' club without reply in the final.

Paul Brown hit a brace,as did Bryan Gillespie, who was later voted player of the tournament.
