YOUNGSTERS involved in the Big ShoutER are celebrating after collecting their third national award.
The East Ren CHCP project — aimed at engaging young people on wellbeing — is run by teens with confidence issues.
The latest accolade is the Young STAND (Scots Tackling Alcohol and Drugs) community award, which follows a bronze COSLA award and a Crofton (national public health) prize.
Pictured is Jade Bourne, a 17-year-old member from Barrhead, who said: “It felt amazing to know that out of all the other groups that presented we were recognised as one of the best.
“It’s made me eager to continue with all the hard work we’re carrying out to improve the health and welfare of young people.”
