Why not have a pop at charity fundraiser

Locals are being invited to pop along for a charity fundraiser event at Enterprise Giffnock’s Fenwick Road branch.

The company has filled its CarClub Toyota Aygo with Cosgrove balloons to raise money for the charity by asking locals to donate £1 to guess how many balloons have filled the car. The prize is a hamper full of goodies donated by Giffnock businesses.

Shannon Bradshaw, of Enterprise Car Club Giffnock, said: “I decided to do this as I wanted to get Enterprise more involved with the local community. Cosgrove do great work with children and adults with learning difficulties so it seemed an easy choice to help raise some money for them.I wanted to demonstrate that Enterprise do more than just rent cars, we want to strengthen our communities and this is a way that I can help do that.”

The winner will be announced on December 22.

Cosgrove is a charity that specialises in providing personalised support and care services for children and adults who have learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and mental health problems, living in and around Glasgow and East Renfrewshire.
