SATURDAY JANUARY 24

FRESH produce at Clarkston Farmers Market. Runs fourth Sunday of every month, 9am-1pm, with up to 25 stalls at the Clarkston Hall car park.

FAMILY fun continues at the Burrell Collection with a wacky weaving workshop. 2-30pm, and the workshop is free to join.

SUNDAY JANUARY 25

RAISE a dram in toast to the bard and rustle up the haggis — it’s Burns Night!

MONDAY JANUARY 26

AUTHOR Christopher Brookmyre visits The Avenue to discuss his latest book. An evening with... starts at 7pm at Primavera Bistro and entry is free.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 28

PUBLIC consultation event held on the new Barrhead High School. Residents are invited to give feedbank on the plans, on display between 3 and 8pm at the current school.
