EROS Musical Society celebrates its 50th anniversary with Calamity Jane at Eastwood Park Theatre. Runs until Saturday, 7.30pm shows plus a 2.30pm Sat mat. Tickets £12-£15.

CITZ celebrates a 70th anniversary with Fever Dream: Southside - opening tonight and running until May 9. Tickets from 429 0022.

Friday April 24

ELECTION Cafe at Newton Mearns Baptist Church. 7.15pm for 7.30 - hear more from East Ren candidates Jim Murphy (Labour), Kirsten Oswald (SNP), David Montgomery (Conservative), Graeme Cowie (Lib Dem) and Robert Malyn (UKIP).

Saturday April 25

CAR boot sale held by Carolside PTA. 10am-noon at Carolside Primary. Free entry/£10 per car space (bring your own table). Tea, coffee and tuck shop in the dining hall.

LOVE Local Food Fair takes place at Whole Foods, 11am-4pm. Free event with farmers market stalls, face painting, live music, hot food and more.

MEXICAN themed fun day at GHA Rugby Club, Braidholm Road. 1-4pm to support an orphanage in Mexico. Free entry but donations welcome.

Sunday April 26

WALK for Eastwood at Rouken Glen Park. Organised for Eastwood Rotary Club with 75% of money going to East Ren Good Causes. 9am-4pm. To find out more, visit www.eastwoodrotary.org.uk.

SPRING craft fair and tabletop sale at Greenbank Parish Church. 1.30-4pm - entrance and tea costs £2 for adults (children go free).
