Cathcart Circle affected by engineering work

RAILWAY users travelling on the Cathcart Circle, Neilston and Newton lines may be disrupted for the next two Sundays due to engineering work.

Buses will replace all train services on these routes until approximately noon, after which an hourly train service will operate between Glasgow and Neilston, via Newton.

The replacement bus will run around both sides of the Cathcart Circle, also calling at Muirend to connect with further train services, but will not stop at Maxwell Park due to restrictions – passengers travelling here are advised to use Pollokshields West instead.

ScotRail has warned users that buses may arrive and depart at different times than advertised, and added that timetables can be checked at staffed stations, or by phoning National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50.

Services will return to normal after work on Sunday July 1 and 8.
