As part of its consideration of proposals for the Integrated Grant Fund, Glasgow City Council’s Executive Committee agreed to create a “Fairer Glasgow Fund”.

The primary purpose of this Fund will be to help organisations who wish to develop proposals around community asset transfers as the relevant parts of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 come into force.

This short survey seeks your views on a number of questions and areas so that they are able to outline the focus for the Fund and achieve maximum impact with the resources available.

Cllr Siddique executive member for communities and citizenship said: “There are many different ways that communities can become empowered, one is community ownership of assets. We have made funding available to support organisations with asset transfer and are seeking your views to determine priorities and maximise impact”

This survey should be completed online, however paper copies may be available on request from jackie.henderson@glasgow.gov.uk

The consultation deadline has been set for January 20.
