Screen star swears by stage show

SCOTTISH actress Libby McArthur is airing unmentionables at the Oran Mor this week for The F-Word.

No, it’s not that F word; the River City star is merely musing on life in your fifties — a one woman show offering a funny look at reaching the big 5-0.

Libby explained: “I wanted to write a piece about being a grown up. I wanted to create a wee fanfare for us in our fully-fledged, flourishing fifties.

“I also wanted to ferret out, by being funny, any wee fetid fears found in the F zone and show it to be festooned with all things fantastic, fabulous and fascinating.”

Catch Libby tonight, Sat and Sun (Aug 17-18), 7.30pm. Suitable for over 14s. Tickets £10-£12.50 from ticketweb.co.uk.
