Charley Pride returns to Glasgow in May for his first UK tour in three years.

Stalwart fans will already have pre-booked tickets as soon as they were released late last year.

Even mainstream musos will recognise some of his greatest hits: All I Have To Offer You Is Me, Is Anybody Goin’ To San Antone, Amazing Love.

The internationally acclaimed American country music singer and guitarist had musical success in the early-to-mid 1970s, becoming the best-selling artist for RCA Records since Elvis Presley.

Pride enjoyed continuing succes releasing dozens of chart-topping Country hits, including the massive mainstream crossover hit Kiss An Angel Good Morning and resides in the higher echelons of the music world, winning three Grammy Awards at his height and takes his place in the Grand Ole Opry with — excuse the cheesy pun — pride.

Royal Concert Hall, Wednesday, May 6.

Tickets are on sale from the 24-hour box office 0844 888 9991 or online at ticketline.co.uk.
