JOSEPH and his technicoloured dreamcoat have arrived in Glasgow.

This time, it’s a former pop idol who starts in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sparkling production. Ian Watkins —also known as ‘H’ from 90s music phenomenon Steps — is delighted to reprise the role of Joseph, which he first played in London’s west end in 2005.

Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours, this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door To Me.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat runs at the King’s till Saturday. Tickets from www.atgtickets.com.
