Police appeal for help to trace missing Shawlands man Daryl

Police are concerned for the wellbeing of 26-year-old Shawlands man Daryl Howard, who has been missing since yesterday afternoon.

Daryl was seen leaving his Mannering Court home at around 4.05 pm yesterday, and since then has failed to return or contact either friends or family.

He is 5ft 2 in and slim with black hair, and has a facial scar.

He was wearing black jogging trousers and a black hooded top, possibly with a red top underneath.

He wore white trainers and was carrying a black backpack with white writing on it,

Inspector James Mann said: “We are eager to trace Daryl as soon as possible, as we have concerns for his wellbeing and would urge anyone who knows his current whereabouts to contact police immediately.

“Daryl is also asked to get in touch with us or attend at a local police station so we can confirm his safety.”
